FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Who is this coaching really for?
This coaching is for professionals who are already capable — but feel the pressure of complexity. If you work with EHRs, Health IT, informatics, data, or digital health projects and often think “I know the work, but I want more clarity and confidence”, you’re in the right place.
It’s especially helpful if you’re expected to think critically, lead discussions, or make decisions — not just follow instructions.
2. What if I don’t feel confident using AI yet?
That’s exactly why many people reach out.
Most professionals are using AI, but quietly feel unsure — like they don’t know what questions to ask or whether they’re using it “the right way.” This coaching meets you where you are and helps you use AI as a thinking and learning partner, not a shortcut or replacement for judgment.
You don’t need prior AI experience — just curiosity and a real project to work on.
3. Is this more of a course, or real coaching?
This is real, 1:1 coaching.
There’s no fixed curriculum you have to follow. Your actual project becomes the material — whether you’re writing requirements, managing scope, designing workflows, or preparing for implementation. If you don't currently have a project, I can create one for you.
The goal isn’t to teach you theory.
It’s to help you think clearly while you’re doing the work.
4. What if my project feels vague or poorly defined?
That’s one of the most common starting points.
Many clients come in with a one-line assignment or a loosely defined request and feel unsure how to turn it into something solid. We work together to unpack it — clarifying scope, assumptions, stakeholders, risks, and next steps — until it feels structured and manageable.
You don’t need a “perfect” project to begin. Unclear is okay.
5. How is this different from learning on my own with ChatGPT or other tools?
Using AI alone can feel isolating and incomplete.
Many professionals say they get answers — but not confidence.
In coaching, I help you:
ask better questions
challenge AI output
preserve your voice and judgment
apply results to real decisions
The difference is having a guide who helps you think with AI, not just prompt it.
6. Will this help me feel more confident in meetings and reviews?
Yes — and that’s one of the biggest outcomes.
As you learn how to think through problems more clearly, your confidence naturally shows up in conversations, documents, and decisions. Clients often say they stop second-guessing themselves and start speaking with clarity — even in rooms with senior stakeholders or technical experts.
7. Do you only work on large, complex projects?
Not at all.
This coaching works just as well for:
small initiatives
early discovery work
individual assignments
or pieces of a larger program
What matters isn’t the size of the project — it’s the thinking required.
8. What if I’m worried I’m “behind” compared to others?
You’re not alone — and you’re not behind.
The pace of change in Health IT and AI has been fast and uneven.
This work isn’t about catching up. It’s about building a calm, repeatable way of thinking that you can trust as things evolve.
Many experienced professionals feel this quietly — and that’s exactly who this supports.
9. What kind of results should I expect?
Most clients describe results like:
clearer thinking under pressure
stronger, more confident documents
better questions and fewer surprises
less overwhelm and more control
a renewed sense of professional confidence
The goal isn’t speed alone — it’s mastery.
10. How do I know if this is the right fit for me?
The first step is simply a conversation.
We’ll talk about what you’re working on, what feels challenging, and what you’re hoping to gain. If it feels aligned, we move forward. If not, that’s okay too.
This work is most effective when it feels like a true fit — not a forced decision.
11.Do I need to already work in Health Informatics to benefit from this coaching?
No. You don’t need prior Health Informatics experience to get value from this work.
Many people I work with are transitioning into the field or exploring it for the first time. I use simple analogies and real-world examples to explain complex concepts, making them easier to understand and apply.
The skills we build — structured thinking, requirements analysis, stakeholder awareness, and using AI as a learning partner — are transferable to any industry. My advantage is deep healthcare experience, which allows me to ground those skills in practical, real scenarios that help new concepts click faster.
If you’re curious, open to learning, and want guided support, you don’t need to already be “in Health IT” to start.
